Overview
The SSW7000 is WEG's medium-voltage soft starter platform for controlled starting and stopping of large induction and synchronous motors, reducing inrush current and mechanical shock.
It's suited to heavy medium-voltage applications — pumps, compressors, fans, mills and conveyors — where direct-on-line starting would cause excessive stress on the motor, coupling, or driven equipment.
